With a refined membership and limited outside play, our course offers quintessential Vermont views while facing 18 impressive holes of golf. Featuring the rolling hills of our natural terrain, the front nine is open and visually imposing with wide, long views of the Green Mountains, while the back is heavily wooded with more narrow, treelined fairways and equally challenging landscapes. Resting on over 200 acres with no residential construction, travel between holes is minimal as you experience a virtually private tour through the breathtaking Vermont countryside.

With 6 sets of tees per hole, the course provides a winning mix of challenge and scenery resulting in an exciting round for golfers of all levels. At 6,788 yards from the tips, the championship black tees provide ample challenge for the low handicapper, demanding every club in the bag be used.

In addition to our championship course, Members enjoy the most extensive practice facility in the state. We provide 6 target greens with an unlimited number of grass practice tees. Seeded to bent grass and surrounded by bunkers, the range allows players the feel of hitting to the cup. Our facility also features a bunkered chipping green as well as 2 large putting greens. The practice facility is maintained to the highest standards to ensure consistency with golf in regulation.

Our Club offers lessons to meet your desired learning experience. From small group to private lessons as well as our exclusive Junior Golf Academy, Country Club of Vermont has a program to suit your needs and comfort level.

Rounding out your golf experience is our dedicated and professional grounds crew meticulously maintaining the entire facility's pristine condition from opening to closing day following Vermont's spectacular fall foliage.

#1 - Up and Away

Par 4Handicap: 11/13

Caddies Notes:
A terrific opening hole with a generous landing area off the tee and a well-guarded green. The tee shot should be played to the left center of the fairway. The second shot plays about 5 yards up hill. The contours surrounding the putting surface can be used to the players advantage.
